GED Connection
What We've Done
For each of the 39 units of GED Connection DVD/Video we've created CYL sheets and adapted the GED Video Partner workbooks (http://www.cdlponline.org/gedprint/).
As students are required to complete each workbook with 70% accuracy, I've created an answer sheet with 20 answers to 20 questions randomly selected from each workbook. When a student comes in with a completed workbook, the DL teacher finds the corresponding CYL sheet (the answer sheet) in a file and checks those 20 questions in the workbook. This CYL sheet is scored and filed in the student folder, and the student never sees it.
Adapted Worbooks
In some cases, we've adapted the workbooks by removing the answers to only those 20 questions, but keeping the rest so that students can check their own work as they progress. In other cases, we have no answers included in the workbooks at all.
